About Carya Golf Club
Belek is Turkey’s premier destination for those seeking the ultimate golf holiday experience. Opening in November 2008, the Carya golf course was designed by Thomson Perrett & Lobb Golf Course Architects (founded by five-time British Open winner Peter Thomson).
The Carya golf course is the first floodlit golf course in Europe and is one of the few golf clubs to host 18-hole international championship tournaments in Turkey. It has been listed as one of the ''top 100 golf clubs in the world'' and welcomes all visitors.
Carya boasts a player’s course, a world-class golf academy, and a spectacular new club house.
Carya Golf Club, in Antalya’s Belek Region, is the first classic, heathland style golf course to be built on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. Set on undulating sand hills, Carya is a championship golf course at the heart of Turkey’s golf coast. Grown in an extensive nursery on site, Carya’s heather shapes define the course into a truly magnificent spectacle. The 6605 metres, par 72 course, is a demanding test of golfing strategy with free-flowing holes that run between pine and eucalyptus trees and across a dramatic sand ridge.
The course is inspired by the traditional old English style heathland courses in the surrey area outside of London such as Wentworth, Sunningdale, Walton Heath, and The Berkshire. The construction has involved the planting of close to one million heather plants to strengthen the heathland environment that already exists.
Carya Golf Club is open to golf lovers of any age and skill level. The course is designed to challenge the best players, but at the same time be a thoroughly enjoyable experience for people at all levels. Carya adds a new concept and raises the bar even greater to the already popular and high standards of golf in Belek.

Facilities at the Carya Golf Club also include a spectacular new club house to come home to once you have finished your round. Golf Academy
The Carya Golf Academy consists of a 300+ metres driving range, a special 165 metres long putting green, and unique state of the art buildings including two teaching studios.
Fully PGA qualified professionals will offer you tuition in many different languages such as Turkish, English, Russian, and German. The coaches will help you through systematic and understandable sessions at special teaching studios with the most modern video analysis equipment.

Tournaments & Events
Regnum Carya, a leading supporter and host of golf, has been a prime venue for major golf tournaments. For three consecutive years, Regnum Carya hosted the prestigious Turkish Airlines Open Golf Tournament (2018, 2019, 2020), attracting global attention. Additionally, Regnum Carya is known for hosting Europe's largest Pro-Am tournament, the Regnum Carya Pro-Am. The 5th edition in 2020 saw 64 teams from 12 countries participate, with Ali Altuntaş winning the 3-day event.
The Fikret Öztürk Golf Championship, organized by the Honorary President of Regnum Carya Golf & Spa Resort, follows the "Ryder Cup" format. Last season, in 2021, the 'Winter Challenge' and Fikret Öztürk Interclub Golf Tournament were held simultaneously at Regnum Carya.
In 2022, Regnum Carya held its first Junior Open to encourage children to take up golf, offering a memorable holiday experience. The annual Regnum Russian Clubs Championship, held every November, welcomes hundreds of golfers from 14 Russian golf clubs at the National Golf Club and Carya Golf Club.

Located within the academy, this state-of-the-art facility, which is fully enclosed, houses a Motion Analysis Technology (MAT-T 3D) system and 'tour workshop' where specialized custom-fitting of clubs is done on a one-to-one basis with a Carya Academy club fitting professional. The workshop is of tour standard and is equipped with club customizing equipment including a loft and lie machine; putter loft and lie machine and a unique gripping station. The Motion Analysis Technology (MAT-T 3D) system offers a custom fitting experience that creates real-time animations of your golfers swing enabling the professional club fitter to fully understand your swing and launch conditions to optimize the recommendation for a full set of TaylorMade clubs.

Designer: Peter Thomson
Peter Thomson is one of the greatest professional golfers of all time. During a playing career that spanned five decades, he won more than 100 tournaments worldwide. Born in Australia in 1929, Peter Thomson is best known for his remarkable record in The British Open Championship.
One of only four men to have lifted the Claret Jug five times, Thomson dominated the Championship curing a seven-year spell from 1952, winning it four times and never finishing worse than second.
