About Montgomerie Maxx Royal Golf Club
Colin Montgomerie first unveiled this championship golf course in 2007, and it quickly became one of the premier golf courses in Belek. In fact, many golfers now rate this as the finest championship golf course in the whole of Turkey and it has not escaped the attention of the European Tour either.
Monty's layout is so good in fact, that it took just six years since its inception to be selected to host a European Tour event and from 2013-2015. Situated on the Mediterranean coast, the golf club offers amazing views of the Toros Mountains. If you like to play in the afternoon, you will love Montgomerie Maxx Royal because even on the shortest day you can finish the course if not during daylight, under the floodlight of the last 9 holes.
Montgomerie name is synonymous with quality and his unique understanding of the game of golf will ensure that this course is considered a masterpiece. Set within 1,040,000 m² (6522 m, par 72) of picturesque, mixed pine forest and sandy ridges, the feel of the natural environment has been maintained, thereby enhancing the particular characteristics of the golf course. The course layout has been created to give people the opportunity to try their hand at an accessible course with a professional edge. Like many of Belek’s other courses, the fairways play through mature pine forests and work with the area’s natural features to create an enjoyable yet challenging course. With eight lakes dotted around the course, water hazards play a prominent part in the play, and clever ball placement is required if you want to make it home with a clean scorecard. The course represents a tough golfing challenge, even for low handicappers.

Montgomerie Maxx Royal Club House is one of the more classic golf clubs in Belek with many facilities and great service that will make your stay even more special. The wonderful, refined restaurant at Montgomerie Maxx Royal Golf Club has 2 excellent areas for you to dine. The classy club restaurant offers a more formal dining experience with excellent service at all times, and the terrace overlooking the 18th hole offers each golfer a chance to relax and take in the surroundings. The international menu offers you all types of snacks and main dishes that are wonderfully prepared especially for you. Service is available all day in the restaurant. Reservations are required for evenings.
The pro shop offers a wide International range of excellent quality golf wear for men and women. Every accessory you could need is available in the pro shop, including Montgomerie Maxx Royal branded t-shirts - a great souvenir to take home to remind you of your trip.

At a world class golf facility, you should find a world class academy. This is certainly the case at Montgomerie Maxx Royal. They offer the most comprehensive golf tuition available, as supported by latest technology used within the golf industry. This includes two fully equipped teaching bays overlooking a 300-meter-long driving range with covered bays and grass tees. Club fitting and repair services are also available. As well as a short game area comprising of 3 greens, each over 800 m², and a Yes! Putting Studio, which will be sure to bring your short game to perfection! Junior programs are also available.

Gathering together the best golfers in the world, including Tiger Woods, in 2013 with an outstanding tournament, the Montgomerie Maxx Royal continued to provide countless local as well as foreign golf enthusiasts with an unforgettable experience by hosting the Turkish Airlines Open in 2014 as well as 2015. The course, jointly conceived by world-famous golfer Colin Montgomerie and European Golf Design is preparing for a brand-new tournament, the Maxx Royal Cup which will be remembered by its own brand value. As the first golf course in the history of Turkish golf to host a European Tour organisation not just once, but four years in a row, Montgomerie Maxx Royal has launched preparations for the fourth Maxx Royal Cup.
