Sueno Golf Club

The Pines  par 72, 6413 m) is the longer of the two courses and is not for the faint-hearted. As the name suggests, The Pines winds through the area’s natural pine forests and makes good use of Belek’s rolling, sandy terrain. The course is famous with its undulated challenging surface. The narrow fairways pick their way through the trees and end in wickedly contoured greens which are sure to test out your short game skills. The course is also dotted with water hazards and strategically placed bunkers (both conventional and blow-out style) which must be avoided if you want to make it home with a score close to par. Only those who display true golfing talent will break par on this course. Of the two courses, the Pines is undoubtedly the harder offering, and it will offer up a real challenge to even low handicappers who want to test their game. Even the short par-3 holes require careful thought and brave shot placement if you want to succeed on this championship course. The 5th hole (Houlstons Folly) with the tough turn, the 9th hole (Lands’ end) with tricky island green, and the impassable sand hazard on the 13th hole (Rugged Valley) are just a couple of the signature holes that every golfer will remember.

The Dunes (par 69, 5643 m) is the second 18-holes course at direction southwest which is attached to The Pines and to the Sueno Golf Hotel. The course feels friendlier. Both water hazards and sandy regions play a large part in the course design and force players to choose their preferred lie based on their abilities. The Sueno Dunes Golf Course builds on links traditions but also incorporates its own Turkish flair, to provide the perfect resort course. 8 designed lake parts are crossing many holes of Dunes to combine green and blue for a perfect atmosphere. 54 bunkers, including 2 confusing waste bunkers, are placed on the way to the finish. Even after 17 lucky holes, you might want to stop and think before you approach the last hole on the island green to finish your day.
