The shape of Belek.
Belek is the densest collection of championship golf in Turkey — and arguably in Europe. A few square kilometres of pine forest east of Antalya, planted over the last twenty years with courses by Faldo, Montgomerie, Thomas and Dye, and a string of resort hotels designed around the act of getting from suite to first tee with as little friction as possible.
It is unapologetically a golf destination. The shuttles between hotel and clubhouse run every few minutes; the all-inclusive packages that cover food, drink, and the round itself; the fact that you can play three different signatures in three days without ever changing rooms. If you want a week of golf without thinking about logistics, Belek is the answer.
Late September through early May. October and April tend to be the sweet spot — bright dry days, the courses in immaculate condition, evenings warm enough to dine outdoors.
