A sense of place

The shape of Istanbul.

Istanbul is the only city on the list that is, properly, a city. The contrast is the point: tee off in the morning on the rolling parkland of Eyüpsultan, and by sunset you're on a boat watching the Bosphorus slide past Beylerbeyi and the call to prayer rise out of three continents at once.

We build Istanbul trips as city-and-golf hybrids more than pure golf weeks — two rounds at Kemer Country Club, three days exploring Sultanahmet, the Asian side, the markets, the long lunches. The Kemer estate itself sits in a valley of pine forest just inside the city's western edge, twenty minutes from the historic core but a different country entirely.

April through June and September through October are the right windows. Summer is hot and the city dense; winter is wet but quietly beautiful for those who don't mind a layer.

Yes — and the contrast is exactly the point. Mornings on the course in Eyüpsultan, evenings on the Bosphorus. We use Istanbul as a city-and-golf hybrid more than a pure golf destination.
April–June and September–October. Summer is hot and the city is dense; winter is wet but quiet. Spring and autumn give you both the courses and the city at their best.
Istanbul Airport (IST) on the European side, or Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) on the Asian side. We route the transfer based on where your hotel sits — the bridges and traffic make a difference.
Two rounds and three days in town is our most-booked shape — Sultanahmet, a Bosphorus cruise, and a long lunch on the Asian side. Your concierge will pace it.
