A sense of place

The shape of Kuşadası.

Kuşadası sits where the Aegean light shifts gentler than the Mediterranean — a coastline of pine, olive groves and small bays facing the Greek islands across the water. Ephesus is half an hour north; the village evenings of Şirince a short drive inland.

The golf here is quieter on purpose. Ege Golf Club is the anchor — you can walk from the room to the first tee, play the morning round, and be on the harbour by lunchtime. Trips through Kuşadası tend to be slower and more curious: golf paired with the ruins, with seafood at the marina, with afternoons doing not very much at all.

May, June and September are the easiest months — long days, soft heat, the resorts before peak season. Antalya can wait.

Aegean light, fewer crowds, and one strong club hotel (Ege Golf) that lets you walk straight from your room to the first tee. Pair it with Ephesus and a few days on the coast for a quieter trip.
April through October. The Aegean stays milder than the Mediterranean coast — May and September are particularly easy on the swing.
Izmir-Adnan Menderes (ADB), about an hour by private car. Bodrum-Milas is also reachable for a longer transfer if you're combining destinations.
Ephesus is 30 minutes north — easily a half-day side trip. The Şirince village evenings are worth the drive too.
